Continental Neighbours Mission is an NGO incorporated by the Uganda Registration Services Bureau under Companies Act Cap 1/2012, No. 80020000360936 and the NGO Board with registration Under NGO Act 2016, No. INDR13443172NB and Permit No. INDP000172NB.
Continental Neighbours operates in six thematic areas i.e.
1. Environmental conservation and ecosystem management
We are keen on transforming environmental practices through;
Reducing carbon emission in the Elgon region of Eastern Uganda.
Promoting ecotourism in the Elgon region to serve as a source of livelihood
Reducing hunger (improved food security) as a result of improved climate & soils.
Stimulating Aquaculture in the Elgon region as a source of livelihood through reserving water resources.
Reducing the disastrous effects of soil erosion and mass wasting which affect agriculture, property and lives.
2. Education and vocational skills training
We strive to ensure that we contribute to the social challenge of worrying youth unemployment through;
Empowering the underserved farmers and youth in the Elgon region with sustainable innovative skills in agribusiness.
Enabling out of school youths with practical skills in metal fabrication, carpentry, mechanics, wielding, electronics and Arts & Crafts as a means to improved livelihood.
3. Livelihood projects
Our focus is to ensure that we improve livelihoods in the Elgon region to reduce poverty among the marginalized by way of;
Creating employment opportunities for the youths
Improving on food security in the region
Establishing agribusiness storage facilities
4. Healthcare and HIV/AIDS
To reduce the spread of communicable diseases in the Elgon region.
To reduce the spread of HIV infection in rural areas

5. Promote gender based rights
To reduce discrimination based on sex among rural men and women
To empower men and women on their God given rights to enable them live a complete life free from limitations
